FUTURE CHANGEMAKER

ABOUT

ME

The mysteries of the natural world, particularly the wonders of the ocean, have captivated me since childhood. Countless hours exploring tide pools and snorkeling the vibrant Hauraki Gulf bays near Great Barrier Island, where my mom hails from, sparked my curiosity about the interconnectedness of ecosystems. This fascination has fueled my academic journey, leading me to excel in science courses like biology, chemistry, and physics.

Now, as a dedicated Year 13 student at Kerikeri High School, I'm driven to pursue a science degree that allows me to delve deeper into these fascinating mysteries.  Whether it's unraveling the complexities of the underwater world or delving into the intricate workings of the human body, the possibilities excite me. My passion extends beyond classrooms, as evidenced by my research project on potential acid sulfate soils.  This experience, along with my eagerness to learn and explore, equips me with valuable skills in data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
